Clarion Hotel & Convention Center

This Hotel stay was not worth the price I paid. I couldn't sleep for 2 nights in a row because of loud music playing and I was on the 11th floor! The staff was friendly and helpful. The television issue was a little bit aggrevating. We were told it was out for then night. I didn't see a problem with that. It was late and we were tired. But it was never fixed in the two nights we were there. Not just that but they didn't offer any compensation. They knew the problem would not be fixed until Monday at the time I checked in but instead presented the problem as temporary. Once we were in the Hotel we were checked in quickly. The security with the elevator was good using the room card to get to our floor was comforting. The floor was quiet, no disturbance. Slept well, the large Jacuzzi was very nice. ...read more

Fix the hot water!!!!

The exterior and lobby of this hotel are impressive. The standard rooms however, feel cramped and the tub/shower is outdated. I would not stay there again primarily because of its location in a "typical" unsafe midtown. ...read more

Should be rated 2 to 2 1 2 stars. It appears ok, but functions poorly.

I like this hotel primarily because the staff is exceptional. The rooms are very outdated (decor). Bathrooms need to be updated as well. It is not one of my favorite hotels, but it is acceptable for business travel. ...read more

The parking was the only negative thing about our stay. Even when we parked in the parking structure, it was dangerous walking down the driveway to get to the main entrance. We saw some stairs which we thought would take us to the lobby area, but it took us to a back alley. We then walked a full block to arrive at the proper entrance.... ...read more

I was disappointed with the location and general run down condition of the hotel. Was no doubt a 3 star hotel 20 years ago. Things change. I would not rate it as a 3 star hotel in it's current condition. ...read more

We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and quality of the rooms. Plus it was quiet - no freeways or trains nearby. I would definitely stay there again.
